Mobile physical therapy and Pilates services in Prince George’s and Charles County, MD

Dr. Brittney Wright, PT, DPT

I’m a physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and pelvic health care, dedicated to helping individuals—especially women—move better, feel stronger, and feel like themselves again. I grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and earned my undergraduate degree from UNC Greensboro before going on to receive my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Howard University. I am also a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES), with advanced training in supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and beyond. I am proud to provide service to women in Prince George's and Charles County, MD.

My approach to care is rooted in understanding how the body functions as a whole. I integrate both orthopedic and pelvic health principles to identify the root cause of pain and dysfunction, rather than just treating symptoms in isolation. Each session is one-on-one and tailored to your specific needs, combining hands-on treatment, movement assessment, and targeted exercise to support meaningful, long-term results.

In addition to physical therapy, I incorporate Pilates-based movement as a key part of my approach to care. Pilates allows me to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance—helping you build strength, improve control, and maintain progress beyond traditional therapy.

I am especially passionate about helping women navigate pelvic floor and core-related concerns with clarity and confidence. Too often, symptoms like pain, pressure, leakage, or discomfort are dismissed as “common”—but common does not mean normal. You deserve to understand what’s happening in your body and to receive care that helps you improve, not just cope.

My goal is not just to help you get out of pain, but to help you feel confident in your body again—whether that means returning to exercise, keeping up with your daily responsibilities, or simply moving through life with more ease and control.
